whom not all can see

guidance is given
so we will not flee

he can punish the wicked
supporters of the system
he’ll protect the pure of heart
from the devil’s cargo cart

as to the dangers lying ahead

telling Jah children
to remove the mass
of worries
from their hearts
and to open their eyes
to Jah works of art

or a seed in germination
after the seed is planted
comes the time for celebration
and if after one or two days
there is still no sign of life
there is no hurry
no worry
and no feeling of strife
for weeks may go by
before the young maize
breaks ground
meanwhile it would seem
certain disaster abounds
as all efforts are aimed
at the seeds destruction
the day after reasoning
yet as a seed is planted
in praise of Jah
that same seed
receives His blessings
back to normal?
no this is just the beginning
for through our reasoning
our labour
some sorrow
and pain
the eternal cycle of life
is set into motion
once again
for weeks may go by
before the young maize

meanwhile it would seem
